The POETIC BRNO mobile application is atoolenabling users to experience poetry in the streets of Brno.Theapplication provides an interactive map, using which it ispossibleto find the nearest place with which a poem is associated,fromyour current location. – The point of this tool is to show howmuchpoetic potential there is in this city. It also shows howmanypoets of different times and styles dedicated their verses toBrno,its sights and locations. This map shows poets writing inCzech andGerman, those with their lives and work closely tied toBrno aswell as those who sometimes only passed through this city.Thisproject includes both authors already deceased and those whoarestill living.
